Felted Amigurumi Sheep
Sheep in Christmas scarf.
This felted sheep is made in the amigurumi style, that is crocheted in rounds that are not joined. However, because she is felted, she is crocheted more loosely, and in half-double crochets. Her finished size is approximately 6" tall and 7" long. Note that you must use wool yarn for this project. You will also need eyes which you can easily purchase in a craft store. Two sizes of crochet hooks are necessary, about a US size G for the hoofs, and a US size I for the rest of the sheep.

Tiny Bit Wild Purse
Tinybit Wild Purse
Tiny Bit Wild Purses measure about 4” wide by 3 1/2” long and are trimmed with a novelty coordinating yarn. These purses have a novelty yarn knitted into the pattern in a stripe effect. The handle is an I-cord which hangs to about 5”. Each purse has a button and loop closure.
This purse was a huge favorite of the girls at my daughter's dance studio several years ago. They make wonderful and fast Christmas gifts for the tween age girl - and even some moms requested their own purses!
This easy pattern is for any worsted weight yarn and extremely wild trim in your yarn stash. This is a great use of novelty yarn that is so wild, you don’t know what to do with it! Look at the bottom of this page for two very different examples of this purse. Use size US size 6 to 8 needles throughout.
